BACKGROUND

The IUCN Pakistan team is looking for a highly motivated intern for a period of 1 month to provide support to the Human Resources Business Partner.

Important information about the position
Please note that applicants must have student status and be enrolled at a university.
The internship is unpaid, but expenses for public transport up to Rs.7000/- on monthly basis is covered.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·    The Intern will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Business Partner in all HR-related work such as Recruitment process, interviewing, filing and logistical support. The intern will also support in digitizing staff files of IUCN Pakistan staff and other related files. This position has to ensure that all files are digitized in an effective and efficient manner within one month in compliance with all procedural guidelines of IUCN.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • General support to the activities of the Human Resource Business Partner on day to day basis;
  • Support in digitizing all relevant current staff files.
  • Support in digitizing all staff files of ex-employees.
  • Support in digitizing all temporary, intern and volunteer staff files.
  • Develop a list and update all in alphabetical order year-wise with date of joining and date of leaving in one drive.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all information filed in each file including availability of all documents, contract and staff records.
  • Assist Human Resource Business Partner with recruitment and separation process.
  • Perform other duties as may be reasonably required by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a Graduate/Bachelor in discipline relevant to the internship and IT literate;
  • Understanding of digitizing documents/files;.
  • A team player with problem-solving and time management skills;
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual;
  • Fluent in English (verbal/written) with good communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other web-based management systems), Email, Internet and ability to learn other organizational applications.
