JOB PURPOSE

The incumbent will lead a team that creates meaningful social media campaigns that partner with high-risk communities in Karachi to help reduce COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and increase vaccine uptake.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Lead a team to create and sustain 6 online groups on various social media platforms with – local community members (men and women) in 3 high-risk districts of Karachi to increase COVID-19 vaccine confidence

·         Lead a team to develop context-specific user-generated campaigns on various social media platforms that will be curated and developed through community engagement (CE) activities

·         Create a social media strategy that amplifies community voices and content with the target audience to help erode covid-19 vaccine hesitancy and connects people to immunization camps

·         Coordinate with community engagement and vaccination team to ensure field team activities – both CE and immunization efforts occur smoothly

·         Train field workers on social media content creation and campaign development

·         Create an M&E plan to track social media engagement and how to use those indicators to drive better engagement in the online groups

·         Help design an online survey to determine baseline knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of selected communities

·         Support any Government liaison efforts led by the vaccination team

·         Help support any IRB, research, manuscript, and other publication writing efforts

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

·         Master's in Marketing and Communications
