Reports to: Senior Manager Climate and Energy Program

Project / Programme: Green Office

Location: Karachi

Work Week: 5 Days (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Long Term

Work Hours: 8:30am To 5:15pm

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain donor liaison and keep a vigil for any potential partners in the corporate sector in light of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) agenda
  • Develop a fundraising strategy for WWF-Pakistan
  • Maintain coordination among Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi region and maintain close liaison with Green Office Initiative (GOI) technical team for the effective marketing of WWF’s GOI
  • Keep close liaison with the Green Office Network
  • Conduct Green Office training and orientations for corporate clients
  • Prepare a list of potential companies and introduce fundraising programs to various organizations/companies
  • Seek donors for the ongoing fundraising campaigns and assist in developing new initiatives
  • Organize and conduct field activities / eco-excursions
  • Work towards creating a favorable image of WWF-Pakistan within the corporate sector by promoting its efforts and position on various conservation issues. Enhance brand awareness through various marketing initiatives
  • Assist in developing a strategy to increase income from corporate and individual memberships
  • Prepare an annual marketing work plan in order to meet the targets
  • Maintain financial and technical database of potential and participating organizations/companies Organize marketing and training seminars in close collaboration with Climate & Energy program / Fundraising team
  • Develop ideas for inculcating environmental sustainability in the supply chains
  • Prepare and share monthly progress reports with the respective supervisor
  • Develop innovative high impact project proposals focusing on green development
  • Any other input required by WWF – Pakistan and assigned by the respective supervisor

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates for the position of [designation] should ideally have;
  • An appropriate Postgraduate qualification in one of the following disciplines: Environmental Sciences, Business Administration (Marketing), Advocacy and Public Relations
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • A dynamic, pleasant, and strong personality
  • Proficiency in the use of computer office applications on word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation
  • Experience in the corporate sector will be an advantage
  • Other Skills and Abilities:
      • Aptitude for teamwork
      • Excellent English Language (reading, writing, and speaking skills)
      • Familiarity with the Businesses and associations in the country
      • Event management skills & experience
      • Excellent interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, discretion)
      • Demonstrated advocacy and leadership skills
      • Ability to motivate and influence others
      • Sensitivity to gender and other current social issues in Pakistan
